Not the way I wanted to end my day....

Well the ol' transfer case finally bit the dust. After a year of moaning and groaning lol. Did it in reverse backing up out of the driveway too. Violent shaking follow by a popping/grinding sound. It still drives though! Just FWD though.

Well I still have a warranty on it but they probably won't honor it. At first when it started acting up I thought it was the clutch so I had it replaced with an Exedy stage II and a lightweight flywheel. So unless I put the stock clutch back in it they are more than likely gonna fight me on it. Hell it might be worth a shot...

all they can do is say no right? I haven't had a thing covered on mine...I always got shot down but now I have a Shep drivetrain anyways

Sheptrans are the way to go! I blew my T-case and got a shep, i was lovin life after that!

yeah the credit cards took a big hit that day for sure...figure if it had to be done I wanted to do the best stuff I could. At least it's payed off now...over a year later

which one? I got the stage 3, had to do a ring and pinion too love the quaife in the front though!
