Intercooler Pressure Test

Looking to buy an ETS 3.5 inch front mount this weekend but want to make sure it is legit. Searched but could not find a procedure, can I just cap one end and induce pressure to the other like a boost leak test? Is there a better way? Any info or advice would be great, thanks guys.

Yes but I would try to incorporate a pressure gauge. This way you can see if its holding boost or how quickly its leaking if it is.

Can I induce pressure on one side and use a compression gauge on the other?

If it has a leak you will hear it You can run your hand over the core as well and feel for air leaks. Soapy water also works

Thanks!
