The coils will work with a Dynatek ARC-2, or M&W Pro12 (don't bother with MSD crap). Mounting holes will probably be off too. Full rewire is in order too. Will be quite the project!

i was wondering if this had been done. You did a good job on the install. I thought about doing this to mine because these kits are so much cheaper than the sparktech ect. kits. I ended up going with a spoolin-up kit because there such a good price for what you get.

Ok...there is a lot to wire up and it is not easy. Not sure if it will work non-cdi, but it should.

Coils:
#1 and #4. Connect the transistor trigger wire (OC1) to the top pin on coil #4. Bottom pin of connector #4 to the top pin of #1, and bottom pin of coil #1 to 12v power from transistor.
Same for #2, #3, starting with coil 3.

Now look on the transistor:
GND to Ground from a coil connector or both
OC1 to coil #4 top pin
OC2 to coil #3 top pin
IB1 to #1,#4 input
IB2 to #2,#3 input
TAC do not connect
VB switched 12v from a coil connector or both

This is almost all off the top of my head...

it works as non CDI. many have used them that way in DSM world. but if you did your research you would also have found without CDI the coils will be weaker than stock DSM coil setup.

thank you! should i be using the dsm ignitor box? from what im told, yours plug into the factory harness. can i buy a wiring kit from you or somethin?? these cols have 2 black wires per unit, and theres 1 ground that grounds onto the metal plate.

it would be a huge down grade from the stock coils unless you have an amplifier or ignition box to drive them.

Dwell times are different, you will need to wire in the ignition from the DSM setup... It would give you worse performance then the stock set up.

Those coils like energy and lots of it. Even an AEM driving them won't work real well and those boxes can adjust for dwell times.

Not my car and I don't care if you do it, I personally have a setup like Matts and I bought some product from him and it is rock solid.

I don't make a wiring harness for it, but PM me. The guys are right. The non-CDI would be less or equal to the stock setup. With the DSM ignitor it would likely work though. CDI is the way to go with those coils.
