BC 272 cams with quality control issues (pics inside)
I was inspecting parts before I put a customer's engine back together and everything was good until I got to the intake cam. These cams have been in the car for about 10,000 miles and put down 347 awhp at AMS with the stock motor, stock 8 turbo and 91 octane. I was wiping them clean to check for scoring and I thought my mind was playing tricks on me.
My camera sucks but if you look closely the lobe isn't even cut 90* to the shaft. Not to mention the edges of the lobe aren't even close to being straight. I'll see if I can take better pictures but this was very apparent to the eye. You want quality? You get what you pay for.

Idk it seems to me bc has steped up their game slightly. Im running their 280's right now, they work good. I will be switching them out soon as their not the best for stroker motors. But lately Ive been seeing more and more 500+whp cars running bc cams atleast from their parts lists in the dyno section.
