Search APS bov and you'll see tons of threads about people either cleaning it, taking it apart or selling it.

I have a synapsis BOV and i love it! There pressure tested up to 100PSI and it can be mounted as a recalculating or atmospheric. I like it more than my Tial

Has anyone tried the Dejon Powerhouse leak stop kit for the MR BOV??
How does this compare to some of the more popular recirc bov's

I've heard it holds boost great and surges like a **** at part throttle.

I can't believe people still mistake bov flutter for surge.

Ted B, you might not have to put a different spring in it, but what do you think about all of the different hose configuration options with the Synapse? I have also heard some people have issues with the Synapse and it being so quick to respond to changes in pressure that when running ECU boost it has BOV flutter issues. Have you heard of similar issues, or no?

I am going to search for a thread on this problem, and will post when I dig it up.

Take a look at the boost gauge if you have one installed. Generally BOV flutter will cause you to float around a certain pressure reading because it is cracking under the pressure and releasing some of the charged air out of the system. Sometimes this isn't the case, but instead you keep dropping pressure significantly to redline. Turbo flutter you will increase in psi, but the drivability will be extremely erratic and it will pull like crap, especially under WOT runs.
