The Synapse unit holds 150+psi boost (good luck making it leak), delivers perfect driveability, and reacts quicker than anything I've seen. As for the Tial, it's a fine unit and works very well. However, I really like the design of the Synapse, and it's so transparent that I don't think I'd buy anything else.

Either way, I wouldn't look outside of those two choices.

Are you implying that the TiAL surges? If so, then you weren't using the right spring...

what happens if you're at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle going up a hill? does it surge? or open or close?
my synapse is open, and you can hear the air flowing out of it.

Blow's off perfect..I have a bit of a stiff spring and it surges very slight but blows off at the same time around 0 to 4 psi after that nothing clean and sounds like a whip snapping hard..lol..When I had the softer spring in it it blow off perfect not one bit of flutter nothing not even 0 to 1 psi im gonna contact tial tom to see what spring I can use or have them make me a custom one.

I have the APS twin vent. Has held 38 psi no problem and drives very nice. Better then I can say about some other bov's I have had or ridden in.

No experience with synapse.

Are Evo X bov different from the IX? Stronger?

With the Synapse, there is no need to hunt for springs. It works right out of the box.

Neat isn't it?
