Rear motor mount/transmission casing... fell off?

That can't be good right?

Well the motor mount didn't exactly fall off, but it is no longer attaching my transmission/motor to the frame. Because of its location, its difficult to get a picture of and I've searched but been unable to find a usable picture from somewhere else. This may be do to the fact that I'm not very smart....

So, question.

Is wielding the dog-ear part of the transmission a viable, strong (not gonna just break again) option?

Is replacing the transmission casing going to keep this from ever happening again?

What can be done to beef up the rear motor mount/transmission casing dog-ear area?

Does anyone have any pictures of said part of my car?

I'll try to post some pictures of this in a second....

HOLY HELL HOW DID YOU DO THIS?
Welding is like putting a bandaid on it.... its best to probably replace the casing entirely outright to be on the safe side.. maybe put in a solid mount with it to cut down on vibration of the dog ear... thats just my .02

I'm not sure how it happened. Car's essentially stock too. Dealership guys told me the ACT street clutch caused it. I find that extremely difficult to believe.

Difficult.. thats a bold face lie. "Why yes sir your clutch is the reason why the mount on the outer casing of your transmission snapped"
They couldn't come up with a better excuse? You need to take a picture of where it broke off... that casing is cast... its not exactly made to just give way. How olds the car, miles, etc?
