Can you reset the electronic odometer from the evo 4-9 ?
or rewind them?

and how is the speedo and odometer driven?
from a sine wave off the gearbox sensor?

Cheers, Mike

Are you asking how to take miles off the odometer?

That would be a dealer only software, and there is alot of paperwork involved when they have to replace instrument clusters and input the mileage from the previous cluster. Now on just changing the mileage on a cluster, I am pretty certain even the dealer software will not let you change the mileage on it.

when we replace clusters at any GM dealership we receive the new clusters unprogrammed and we have to input the current mileage and hours through the GM software...changing the mileage=big trouble tho

OP explained with legitimate reason for the resetting of the odo since it is coming from another car(evo).
