I've enclosed a couple of pics of that megan DP. in your opinion, is this normal? the pieces welded together don't line up very well, the bends are rippled and dented (not very smooth), and the welds on the hangers look bad. they are only welded on the outside, and on the inside of the hanger, there's actually a gap between the pipe and the hanger itself. I haven't seen enough of these to know, so i'd like you guys to put your eyes on it. it's hard to capture in the pics, but they look worse in person.

 

That looks about right , if you aren't liking the downpipe just sell it and buy another one. I'm personally running the TurboXS downpipe and it hits nicely and clears the ACD/oilpan cleanly.

 

Megan parts are cheap for a reason. Send it back and get a quality piece.

 

+1...a friend of mine has the same DP and it looked the same way, I guess you get what you pay for.

 

Get exchange. I have same DP and it does not look like this.

Mine had misaligned sections, but no dents. Sold it.

 

I have a Megan DP as well and it doesn't look like that.....

Mine looked a million times nicer than that. I was actually really impressed by the quality for the price of mine. Definitely return that.
