I am looked for some suggestions to make a little more power out of my current set up. My signature has everything listed but here it goes again. IX turbo, SS o2, 3" TBE, 3" ETS intercooler, ETS LICP, K&N cone filter, 1000cc injectors, E-85, and GSC S1 cams. The car makes around 400whp now but as we all know horsepower is drug. I dont really want a bigger turbo but i understand that would be the easiest ticket. Does having the head ported make any power? Also thought about porting the intake and exhaust manifolds. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

if you want more power i will port intake mani, tb and exhaust mani if youre considering keep your 9 turbo. Now if you want easy more power just get a bigger turbo or upgrade to a fp or bbk.

 

You can go bigger cams, port the exhaust manifold, exhaust cut-out, port the tb, and intake manifold, to squeak out more power. But at that time a FP Red/Black would do it for probably around the same price and make more POWAH!

 

just got my nine turbo upgraded with the new housing for 1145 shipped well worth the money if you have the time to wait fp is slow

 

i would say some porting could free more hp, other than that step up in the turbo world to a red or black.

 

Just a liiitle bit more boost. You know, just a quarter turn, ...

 

Do weight reduction and no carpet. Same power no money, feels way different.
