New Thread Greddy Issue

Decided to make a new thread for this. Searched and didn't quite find what I needed. I have the Greddy type RS recirc. I installed it a couple days ago and am having a few issues. I don't hear anything from the bov at all. I tried listening to it at low boost then I got on it and still didn't hear any sound. I tried it while in neutral and manually revving the engine but that also didn't work. I figured that trial wouldn't work anyway since it doesn't build any boost while in neutral.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Why don't you go for a drive and see how much you are boosting?

You should have just stuck with a stock Evo 9 bov if you didn't want any issues.

What is your boost gauge reading? Also unplug the recirc pipe and see if you can hear the bov that way. The greddy rs bov is not very loud, so that is why you might not be hearing it. As long as you are able to go into boost and hold it the way you were before installing the bov, then you will be fine. But unplug the recirc pipe, take the car around the block and see if you can hear it. If you can you are fine.

I don't have a boost guage but it's bone stock. I tried unplug it from the UICP and revved it while in neutral. It bogged out and stalled on me.But yes I could hear it.

You either installed it wrong or there is a vacuum leak of some sort.

Yeah starting to think the same. Looking for the sound however. Haven't hear much about that BOV but not sure if it would do it. Guess I could search and find out.

Should be installed correctly. Not sure about the vacuum leak. I'll have to get something to test it.

I say its installed backwards. Swap it around and test it again to see if anything changes.

I have the blue flange installed into the intake and the other flange into the UICP. Is this correct installation?
