QM clutch question

Hey I bought a QM clutch for a 6spd tranny but I never installed it. I am going to do a 5 spd swap but I still want to use the clutch. My question is what would I have to change to make it work with the 5spd? I forgot who it was but one vendor told me all I needed to due was buy the 5spd rebuild kit for it but I soon found out there was no whole "kit", you buy what you need (friction discs, floaters etc.) I know its not the spline because I slid the 6spd discs onto the input shat on my 5spd and they fit fine.

you need the 5 speed clutch slave cylinder (hydraulic bearing i think QM calls it).

Ok took some pics my clutch box had two boxes labeled hydraulic release bearings. Theres a 3 bolt one and a 4 bolt one. Oh and the 4 bolt one on the box is labeled for a Evo VII (p/n 710045). (I know about the slight surface rust )

uhhh, not that I know of, Where did you get the clutch? Anytime I have ordered a QM twin for an evo they only send one TOB. Sounds to me they sent you both 6 speed and 5 speed on accident, or unless you paid extra.

Got it for a good deal brand new from a guy on here said it was for the 6 speed. But yeah unless he paid for two or they accidentally sent two like you said. Anyways thanks for the help , hopefully this thread can help someone in the future if their in a similar situation.
