Oil Pumps - aftermarket

I have heard the factory oil pump is not the best and often see very low oil pressure when my car is idling. I was wondering if anyone has either removed the factory pump and used an electric pump to circulate oil or added an aftermarket pump to maintain a better pressure. Thanks in advance...

Marco makes a dry sump. The pumps on our cars dont suck really. At idle you dont need a lot of oil pressure. As soon as you need it the pump has plenty of plow and pressure.

All of the low oil pressure at idle situations I've seen have been from using too thin of an oil during track events, it seems like in general the pump seems up to the task.

I guess @ $5k (LOL) for a dry sump setup, I'll just have to keep the stock setup ...

I was actually thinking more along the lines of removing the factory oil pump and using an electrical (military spec) pump, vs. dry sump. I know a dry sump is far superior, but way to expensive for me.
