Hi Guys,
can anyone share how to replace OEM Balance Shaft Front & Rear Bearings?
Can it be done at workshop (manually)? or do i need to send the block and bearings to the machine shop to do it?

As 1 of my friend done it b4 in a workshop and the mech screwed the new set of bearings when installation...We don't know why,but its seem very difficult to pushing the bearings into its place without much resistant and this has caused the bearings to damaged.

Please kindly share on how to install it....Thanks

I made a tool from old shafts. weld old bearing to shaft. then grind down outside diameter of bearing so it slides past block . To install new bearing I use a shop press. hammering them in will distort shell.

Thanks for sharing 94awd, as my whole engine have been dismantle, so do i still need to make the tool as u hv made? what is shop press? is it a tool?
