Sorry to break it to you but your transfer case is most likely damaged. Youll know if after you get it back from the shop, and your driving, all 3 ACD lights will come on. Thats if you have the ACD transfer case.

Thats not the dealers issue. You should have gone after the tow truck company unless the dealership arranged the tow truck in which case if it was a mitsu dealer they should have known.

Def have it inspected and make the tow company pay for everything. If you have the manual then go down to the tow truck company and show em it clearly states that in the manual and you requested it. If not borrow your buddies or print it off. But the tcase and diff should be replaced.

I am debating on getting my EVO towed from the body shop to the dealership or driving it. I will probably drive it around out front of the body shop and figure it out then.

I dont know if i would drive it. I would probably start it up and make sure nothing abnormal is on, maybe try to drive it just a little bit but i would probably just have the dealership come and tow it and get it inspected first before doing anything. I mean if its damaged why risk damaging anything else lol. thats my 2 cents for ya. Hope everything works out for you though.

^Agreed, and it also gives them one more reason to say it was your fault.

Flat bed tow it to the dealership.

Invest in one of these stickers

$5.00

I have had a situation like yours but made the guy call another driver with flat bed.

Whenever you tow, tell the operator FLAT BED TRUCK ONLY.

Am I the only one that is wondering how the car could even move? There is no way the rear wheels would spin easily with the front wheels strapped down. It would either drag the rear wheels and they wouldn't move at all, or the diff would instantly explode. How would it spin at all??
