i also received my Blox shift knob. this thing feels really heavy for its size. dont know if i really like it yet as it seems to have extended the shifter but my car had a short shifter in it when i got it so it isnt to bad. i'll let you guys know how it feels when i start to drive it!




i should receive the manifold tomorrow! this weekend hopefully i can install everything!

i wish we could set something up down your way at one of the more local shops. We love to travel and tune/install and i have a few friends down your way as well

hahaha that might happen eventually! well last year we tried setting up an event at our local track (cecil, ga) so that we can kind of put this place on the map for our community. we had a lot of interest from alot of people to include shops in florida and alabama. we even had people from other car forums/communities to include WRX/STI's, Mopar/SRT-4's etc.

the plan was to hold an event so that these communities can come together and see what we have and enjoy the weekend at the track. we wanted the vendor/shops to enjoy and show off their shop cars and pretty much just have a great *** time.

long story short.. the GM of the track was acting like a douche. we even told them that we did not want any money lol we just wanted the event there. i guess they got burned off a deal they made for an import show/drag event but that was their fault for doing a crappy deal

i plan on going to them again and pitching a new event plan and see if they bite. this time we are trying to add a drift event as well. we'll see

it looks like its a 7-8 hour drive to you from here so you never know

 

i have full confidence in Mike and the crew at AWD. it should be a great time!

 

Very nice man! I think I may have seen your turbo sitting at Chad's Monday when I was there for a tune...He was taping up some BBK boxes while I was there...
