I wouldn't want to trust the O2 or knock count from an AFC. It has been known from various individual tuners for their cars from Saturn to Honda that the AFC puts outs a signal which can skew actual reading for TC.

For NA, it's too hard to really blow up an engine while TC has a smaller window of error.

I use a FJO wideband on my eclipse and soon will start using it on the EVO. It has a data logging kit that is extra but it is worth it in my eyes. I tune alot of cars here in Hawaii. The FJO will pick up RPM and o2 voltage and of couse air fuel ratio. I can record for 5 mins straight if I want to. I hope to soon put a AFC on the car and tune it and post the whole run for you guys to look at. My FJO cost about $1000. for every thing including the sensor.

I started this thread so I thought I'd chime in. I just got a pocketlogger for Christmas and should be receiving my wideband O2 setup shortly. For the wideband, I went with the Innovate Motorsports unit. With GP pricing, I got everything for $414 (the control box, O2 sensor, RPM inductive pickup, datalogging software, cables, etc.). It has a provision for datalogging from an analog signal. I wonder if it could datalog the knock sensor?

No it can not. I have heard great reviews on that system. I really hope it works out for you. As for knock doesn't the OBDII pocket logger log knock?
