What to look for in a built trans...?
What do i need to get for a 550whp 450 lb/ft (for example) daily driver? I mean i know Shep ofers a street strip 5spd that looks appealing...and there’s always the Buschwacker from buscher..
1) What options should I get?
2) Do I need duel sycros?....etc
What is the week point in the 5spd? and is it addressed In a standard transmission rebuild? The car will be drag raced, and driven hard…but not on a daily basis, maybe 2-3 drag events per year….I’m also going to be upgrading the transfercase.

So i'm wondering if there is a sycro option? or are these just rebuilt with OEM sycro's? Idunno looking at the spec sheets, its almost like they just rebuild the trans with OEM parts....you can have the gears cryo treated..etc...but are there better sycros that i should be aware of?
Just trying to get something that i can rip on, and not have to worry about. (although i know everything breaks eventually)
