wastegate actuator signal line hose diameter

I need to run a 10 ft hose to the rear of my car to control an exhaust cutout controlled by a wastegate actuator. I'm not sure whether to use a hose with a smallish inner diameter (1/8") or a larger diameter (1/4"). Which would promote quicker response?

Thanks!

I would run the 1/4in line. Just make sure you have a solid vac/boost source

Metal and smaller diameter.

A rubber line that long will have a lot of compliance, which isn't good for response. Probably wouldn't matter though as the 0.2 second difference likely isn't going to matter.
