Oil Press sensor mounted on the Cylinder Head?

Hi,
just wonder can we mount the Oil Press sensor on the Cylinder Head just at the back of thermostat?

There is a small nut screw located on the side of the cylinder head.

Will it give an accurate reading compare to mounting on the oil filter area?

Thanks

Good question, I also would like to know, I mounted mine off the oil housing using that AMS remote oil line so its not directly on the housing/ on direct vibration

You can do it for sure but it will not tell you what the oil pressure in the motor is. It will be lower than the motor but it will let you know at least what pressure you have. I would say to use the oil pump housing so you know what the motor is seeing. You could do both and see how much pressure you are losing through the shortblock.
