The right way to install a BR 3":

Make sure last round metal hanger on catback is behind rubber hanger on subframe. Make sure rubber hanger is perpendicular to ground. Adjust all other slip joints accordingly. Exhaust tip should be sticking out from bumper approximately 2 inches.

Do not slip sections together as far as they can go. If you do, the system will rub.

I love my Perrin. It sounds very deep, but is not tinny or too loud. I definitely could notice a power gain, however, have no dyno or slip time proof.

in addition to the advice given above, I'll give this advice about the rattle.

I had a rattle in my exhaust also. Turned out it was the high-flow cat that I ordered with my BR exhaust that was rattling. The cat has a heat shield around it that was vibrating against the actual cat at high RPMs. I took it to a guy I know here locally and had him put it on a lift, where he used an awl (or could use a screwdriver) to pry the heat shield out away from the converter.

No rattles now

Dont get me wrong. I love the exhaust, but I hate the rattle and the fact that I have been in contact with the Buschur group atleast five times. You would think since I spent around $2,300 I would not have that damn rattle. Well the problem is still with me.
Buy the Buschur exhaust, its great for the price. Hopefully you will have better luck than I.

SAEVO,

Who did you talk to here at the shop and what did they tell you?

Let me know or call me personally on Monday and I will straighten it out for you.

Do you have the CAT? If yes, you have to put the cat at a slight angle to avoid vibration against the bottom of the car, it can't be parallel to the ground.
