Just need acouple of opinions on whether to go with a HKS HI power exhaust or Buschur setup . I listened to both sound clips still unsure. I want a growling deep sound not sure which one to go with. Any opinions

 

Deep Growling Loud = Buschur

I have an HKS custom 3" setup w/ no cat and when I go to a road course I drain out the zo6's exhaust on the straightaways

 

I have a borla if anyone is interested... GF and neighbors complaining too much! I really like it and it has a deep serious growl. I actually don't think it is too loud but I am tired of being ragged on. Besides it has their million mile warranty!

 

hks hi power exhaust is as nearly quiet as stock....

 

HKS tapers to a smaller diameter. So not a true 3" by any means. get something that's a true 3".

 

Go American... Stainless Steel...and a real 3in exhaust. Unless you want to call up Buschur and have them weld a HKS muffler.

 

B&B has an amazing exhaust system line. I have the B&B turboback and the gains/spoolup/sound are all truely amazing. Not much louder than stock, but a REAL nice tone. no highway drone either

I have the Buschur with Magnaflow muffler. Excellent system, not too loud, but nice and deep tone. Opens up nicely at WOT. Very noticeable power gains also

 

I have the HKS Hi-Power and it is 3" all the way back. It is really 2.95" if it's that big of a deal.

 

I have Buschur and love the sound in the higher rpms

 

I have the Buschur 3" with both the Magnaflow and their custom muffler.

If you like it loud, order it with the custom muffler.
If you have neighbors, get the Magnaflow.

I just gave a test drive this weekend to a fellow board member and he was amazed at how quiet the magnaflow is, but it opens up nicely when you want it to (partial throttle and WOT). I liked the BR muffler for a day or so, sounds INCREDIBLE at WOT, but might be a bit too loud for a car you drive everyday and conversation becomes somewhat obsolete.

I wouldn't buy a damn HKS coat hanger. A lot of people on here seem to be obsessed with JDM stuff. I buy stuff that works. BR's exhaust makes power, period, regardless of the muffler you put on there. Test drives are open to anyone in the NY/NJ/CT area.

I like my exhaust(Buschur) but it has a rattle. After many adjustments it still rattles. Dont know what to tell you. I am sure the HKS is nice also.
