To each his own, but not feeling the red intake at all. Reminds of like some old ricer fast and furious type ****.

Keep up the effort! I only wish you had painted white under the hood. White is the only color factory race cars are painted under hood and under body. You can see whats going on easier and quicker!

That would have looked slick. I started powder coating parts and then picked a vehicle color. The Chevy Avalanche looks great in this color so I wanted to see it inside and out

I am interested to see the exterior when finished, I think it will look pretty sharp. Also, what brand fuel filter is that?

Im guessing the old motor spun a bearing....that metal is lurking everywhere... even the turbo... may wannna get that looked at before introducing metal to your new motor.

I hope so... The fuel filter is Aeromotive. I also used them for the fuel rail, and other plumbing. Ryan is a dealer for them and a whole lot of other products. It was a quick turn around.

Blown head gasket. Just not knowing the status of the motor decided to do a 100% fresh rebuild.

That looks good man. I hope to clean mine up a little more as well. I just got done with a full build and did a lot of the same in regards to cleaning the engine bay and powder coating. I also want that ABS delete kit your running. I'm looking it up now and hoping to find a MC or two at the junk yard. Who did you order the lines through?

Keep up the good work and hope to see more progress..

Thanks for the compliments, still being painted right now, but I hope to have some great looking pictures in 2 weeks.

Actually went with a reman one via ebay (base lancer non abs). You will have to reuse the reservoir and all other parts were new from mitsupartz.net

I spent a total of about $150 and it works great. It's basically everything the STM kit comes with but a different master cylinder that is remaned.

Here are the PN's you will need

MR493302
MR493301
(5)MR129462
(2)MR249607
4650A046
4650A045
MR977089

There is also a thread discussing it
