Forward Facing Turbo vs RAIN

I want to ask those who are running this setup, and those that sell the kits how do you guys deal with the rain?

And if anyone is running a Forward Facing turbo kit and using there car for DD are there any precautions you are taking to make sure nothing gets in the turbo?

I run a fwd facing kit that allows me to run a filter on it. I don't worry about anything on the street.

Forward facing turbo + rain = free water injection kit.

But seriously although if you run a filter, it will still get soaked and ingest water that will hit the spinning turbine blades.

I can only think of one thing that will help and that is if they still have the AC heat exchanger. That thing should probably block off most if not all of the rain water.

AC heat exchanger won't fit with 95 percent of FF kits out there.

Buschur has a custom block off plate and I will be going with their kit since it allows a filter to be fitted.

I run Buschur's FF Kit.

Filter + Carbon Fiber Blockoff Plate = Streetable FF Kit
