non hta fp green vs atp 3031r

Hey guys im in a dilemma, as i have a non hta green on my evo 9, but my friend wants to sell me his atp 3071r kit. I've read here that alot of ppl is comparing the green to the 3076 and not the 3071r. Any comments?

my mods are
Full race manifold, Tm works coils, 800cc injectors, fuel regulator, walbro fuel pump,
hks type r intercooler, greddy type r bov

The ATP turbo kits have gained an extremely low prestige rating on this forum. The Garrett 30R series turbos were fine in their own right. The same 30R turbo fitted with ATP's exhaust housing becomes an absolute dog. Don't buy it. Don't bolt it up to your manifold.

You are better off sending your FP Green turbo back to FP and having it converted into an HTA Green, an HTA Red, or an HTA Black.

The original Green has a roughly 20g size wheel, which is nearly identical to the 3071R. The Red is the same wheel as the HTA76 which is based on the 3076.

Um , not quite . The classic Green had a 5/5 bladed wheel where the GT3071R has a 6/6 bladed "GT35" 76T comp wheel .

The GT3076R uses a 6/6 bladed GT37 compressor wheel .

Hint , look closely and count the number of blades the FP wheels have . They are not silly when it come to pumping air/minimising lag/avoiding surge .

A .

I must have been falling asleep when I posted this reply. Duh! As RSMike goes on to state above....The Red and the Black both have HTA compressor wheels.(Well, I knew that the Red does. But, I didn't know that the Black does. Thanks Mike!). So, I was being redundant
