Shepherd Trans - Waiting time?

Just a quick question to anyone who sent their TC in the past to Sheph Trans: How much time is the wait? Ive sent mine about a month ago and still no news. I sent a mail 2 weeks ago to ask if they received it and they did receive it but didnt have the time to look at it yet.

Im not pissed or anything, just wondering how much more time i'll be stuck driving a Yaris...

The only person who can answer that question accurately is Shep racing themselves.. Asking people on the forum who sent their trans there at all different times of the year will not get you an accurate estimate of wait time.. This month might be 4 weeks and last month 1 week.. call Shep direct..

I had the same question. They said general turn around time is 2 weeks. I'm hoping less on my tranny.

I've had 2 week wait times and I've had 2 month wait times it really depends on how busy they are and the extent of repair.

Just give Shep a call. I’m sure he’ll let you know what’s up.

Everyone here is right.

You will need to call them for an update, as they won't call you. I was without my car for 4 1/2 weeks waiting for them. They do great work and I've never had a problem with my t-case, but their turn-around times are iffy at best. I know the pain of waiting, so good luck.

Finally got the call yesterday, the ACD seal/clutch part is leaking hard so i'll be going Stage 2 and no need for that more expensive full rebuild.

Now I can hardly wait :P

PS: I had already spoken with them by mail and didnt want to push my luck asking tons of question ..thus the reason why I posted here to hear from others and share experience..

I dropped my transmission off 2 weeks ago today. They said 2 weeks, but they certainly looked busy. At least I'm not in a hurry.

I'm not in a hurry myself, except for the fact that my car has been in the tranny shop for a few weeks now and I am pushing my luck with it taking up one of their lifts. it sucks.
