I have my EGR disabled and am in the process of ordering the block off plate as well.

However if I remove the unplug all the EGR vacuum lines and plugs while leaving the EGR valve bolted on. Will the EGR leak exhaust in to the intake manifold or create boost leak through the EGR to the exhaust track? This is just until I get the block off plate, I figured I can use the time now to remove most of the stuff and have less work when the block off plate comes.
