Wtb: Review on TiAL Sport QR Blow Off Valve

Im trying to find a good BOV. Alot of ppl always brag about Tial. I found out they make a recirculating one called the "TiAL Sport QR Blow Off Valve." Only problem.... no reviews on them.

Im wondering the following:

- Does it make a good sound? I hate blow off valves that sound like there surging or flutter
- Does it hold boost until 30psi?
- Is it a ***** to mess and adjust?
- is it work $259?
- What spring do u have in it?

I bought the Synapse one and I freakin hate it...it was a such a pain to adjust and make sound right. I got fed up and sold it to my friend and took a $30 hit on it!

Man I would have given you my tial q and some cash. You got rid of a damn good bov man. That was a mistake. Once it is set right, that would have been the last bov you ever would need.

There is plenty of info out there on the Tial q bov. The only difference between the qr and q is that qr is recirculated... Look for reviews on the Tial q they are both the same pretty much.

The tial QR can handle any amount of boost you can throw at it. There is a reason why most high boost turbo cars run Tial valves, they are built with quality, interchangeable springs and are proven to hold boost with extremely few issues.

The Tial QR is the same as the infamous Tial Q, it just has a different base housing that covers up the valve and diverts all vented air to a recirculated flange. So, same great tial product, different base collar to make it stock ECU and MAF friendly.

It is a really nice piece. Well worth the money, simple setup too. Just make sure you get the right spring for your boost pressure.

There's also no adjustments on the Tial. The only thing you can do is change the spring inside, which Tial tells you do do based on the vaccuum at idle. What I will say is the damn thing holds boost like none other. I installed the QR about a month ago, coming from a stock IX tuned for 30psi on E-85. Installing the Tial instantly hit close to 40, which means the stock was leaking like crazy. On the down side, it does surge alittle at low boost and light throtttle. It also doesn't enjoying partial throttle acceleration, which I'm trying to figure out.

Do you have the right spring? What turbo are you running? Sorry for the off topic post. Just the first time I have heard someone having problems on the Tial. If anything, when I put mine on I experienced less surge, and as you stated far less leaks. I came from an APS TV BOV, by the way.

Bumping this old thread. I can't seem to find much info on the Tial QR, only the Tial Q vta. I'm holding off on running speed density for this summer and I really want to go Tial but can't find much of anything about them with the proper spring in it. Does anyone have sound clips of it? I know it'll hold boost as good if not better than anything else out there. Any reviews/sound clips available?
