To hit 500 whp on a red is a bit hard so the black will be a great choice for your Turbo.I personaly don't like stock framed turbos went threw . Of them and nothing feels like a t3 large frame.the 60-1 is a nice all out Turbo makes great power and spools fast..

Couple of big differences between a green and this new HKS:
1. HKS is dual BB, which *should* yield more reliability
2. HKS spools quicker than Evo9 stock turbo according to reports; green is slightly slower.
3. HKS is cheaper, especially if you are in an Evo8. For the 8 guys you need to buy a green, and the install kit. That throws you well over $2000 for a bolt on turbo. The HKS is $1899 and comes with the install kit for an 8 (or 9).
4. HKS is dual BB, which *should* yield quicker transient response (but that's hard to quantify).
I'm right at the point where I'm about to upgrade my stock 8 turbo...and this HKS looks to be the stuff. I'm waiting a bit more though, I'll make a decision in December and buy it as a Christmas gift to myself .
**EDIT** oh yea...and the HTA Green is the other turbo I'm looking at. My goal is 400ish whp on 93o and 460-480ish whp on E85 (mustang dyno #'s).

not knocking ivey tune at all but Force preformace has a nice rep and honors most warranty claims or damaged turbos instantly. There are many many many fp turbo test and how many hks turbo test exsist? Personally ill let some other test subjects get the turbo and see what they are laying down on average before i jump into the fire on that one
