Help: Car won't boost past 12 PSI - Problem with WGA?
Ok,
So I just bought the new HKS 7460R GTII bolt-on turbo and I was trying to tune it today and the car wouldn't boost past 12 PSI. It is NOT a boost leak, because I already did a test and there are no leaks whatsoever.
However, when I disconnected the vacuum line from the HKS WGA from my GM 3-PORT solenoid, I was able to boost up to ~25 PSI
. When I hook it back up to the solenoid, I can't boost past that limit anymore. I even tried changing the GM BCS to a new one, and it still did the same thing. I know I hooked up the GM correctly and triple checked. I also changed BOVs, put on a fresh ROM and nothing works.
I'm wondering if there could be anything wrong with my HKS WGA internally?

So, with this setup how do you go about raising the boost level? Mentally I am stuck back in the primitive MBC age. I just want to know how you raise boost in your setup. Do you have to hookup a laptop to raise boost?
