Fujitsubo and AVO exhaust info

I've done quite a bit of research over the past few days, and I can come up with little information about these exhausts. I've found a little here and there, but nothing much. What I would like to know is how these exhausts fit, especially since the Fujitsubo appears to be only for the VII. I would really like a few pictures of each, especially the AVO as I cannot clearly see what the tip looks like on this exhaust. Pictures or any info from a member that has these exhaust would be greatly appreciated.

Exhausts for the VII will fit, but they usually come up about an inch or short of the rear bumper. Here's some pictures of Fujitsubo's exhausts that fit the Evo VIII.

Fujitsubo's Super Ti:

Legalis-R:

RM01 (Stainless & Titanium):

Fujitsubo's site is excellent if you know how to read and navigate it. Plus their pricing is very good; We carry their whole line.

Thanks for the response. I really like the look of the RM01. What is the best way to fix the shorter length, or will it not harm the bumper. The stock exhaust appears a little short and does not seem to have a problem with burning. How is the fit of the Monster exhaust you have on your site? Does this one clear the bumper? Are the Fujitsubo exhausts quiet as has been reported? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm trying to get as much information as I can

The ones I've shown you are specifically for the Evo VIII. They have a couple other exhausts for the VII but I didn't show you those. The Legalis-R is quiet, the RM01 and Super Titanium are louder.

As for the Monster exhaust, the fit is very good. I'm trying to decide between Monster and Mine's for my Evolution.

Regarding clearing the bumper, Evo VII exhausts do fit the VIII, and their tips end relatively close to where the stock tip ends, for lack of a better description. It looks fine but the gases may end up contacting the rear bumper. You have enough Evo VIII system options where you don't need to consider mounting a VII one.

Think I answered all your questions.

Are you sure its not for the JDM Evo VIII? If its for the USDM Evo VIII then I will probably be considering one of these.

Do you have any pics of the Monster and Mine's exhausts? Thanks in advance

Our experience shows these exhausts will fit your US-spec Evo.

Here's a couple awful pics of the Monster system. The first is the stainless system, and the second is the titanium system.

And Mine's:

Here's a pic of their Evo VIII:

Wish I had better pics for you.

Do all of these exhausts bolt up to the stock cat? Also, you list a price for a turbo back full titanium Monster exhaust, does this have the cat delete as part of the downpipe, or is it the downpipe to stock cat, then the cat back after the stock cat. Have you had any experience with the sound of the Monster system. Loud or quiet?

Ok now i'm between the monster and the fujitsubo ti.

I hope it does fit cause i know that the JDM Evo VIII uses the same rear bumper w/ the Evo VII. But you said you've had experience with these exhausts on the USDM Evo VIII so I guess i'll trust your experience.

Can you give prices on the Fujitsubo Super Ti and the Monster ti cat-back please. Thanks again

I would employ a high-flow cat or straight pipe to maximize your gains.

The Monster exhausts advertised on our site are cat-back, you should get the midpipe as well. The sound of the Monster is urbane and throaty, as they tell us, not obnoxious or droning at all.

all the JDm finish a bit short...some shorter than others, as they are all designed around the rest of world rear bumper. The larger JDm firms (HKS, Greddy, Blitz) all have or are in process of doing US spec systems designed around the bulbous rear USDM bumper.

The Fujitsubo RM01A does happen to finish a bit short, but not as short as most...its a good choice for a US spec car, and is damn near silent

If you ask me, the stock tip finishes short compared to my Z and S2000. Apexi Hayabusa mounted didn't look 'short', definitely didn't come out to where Buschur's or Vishnu's exhausts do, but when Monster gets put on, I'll post pics to show where it ends.

Since you brought it up, how does the Mines exhaust fit and sound. I looked at thier site, but could not get much. I believe they sell a stainless and titanium version as well. What kind of price would the Mines run, as I have a ballpark for the Fujitsubo. I also came across the ARC titanium, but I dont know if I can part with close to $3,000 for a catback

AVO is ment to work with the stock cat 2.5' , from the cat back as well as the down pipe . Brainstorm carries it . They have some pics at miata.org and click on turbo perfomance .
The AVO is a nice system but if you want a true 3' exhaust you are better of in to looking in to BR or Vinshu or other companies that make a 3' turbo back , the down side to it is that it requires for you to run a 3' cat with it ...
