Boost threshold:

Ok, so lets start a thread to engage the minds of those people with stockish turbos, who like to do a lot of autocross, or street driving. I for all intents and purposes have an entirely stock ix. I will be nabbing up the spare parts to get pnp'd along the power tract.. IM, EM, spare 10.5 hotside...

What are the cominations of parts, and what sort of tuning allows you to create power at lower RPM, and how does boost surging during part throttle or high load low rpms play in here? I miss driving a tuned 07 wrx that had instaboost. The evo is much more solid all the way through, but hear me now, Im after a bit more low end than midrange and top. This contradicts 99% of the threads I have searched, and BOOST threshold comes up not once as the main topic of a thread!

a perfect solution could include antilag, but i know thats far to extreme for my little endevours. maybe a viii hotside? but nah. . . there is other methods or no?
