4G63 Hesitating on Acceleration

Hi people I'm having some stress with my JDM Evo3, I cleaned out my stepper motor because the ride was hesitating on acceleration/overtaking. But now the hesitation got worse, I don't know what the problem is I short of ideas on what to check! I am getting a Check Engine Light, I don't have an ODBII scanner close at hand to check the code... I need help!!!

Problem sorted. After inspecting almost all the associated sensors I found the culprit to be the spark plug wires! Changed the wires and now its running like its supposed to...

Just in case more problems come up and you have to look for advice, Evo's 1-3 are more similar to 96-99 DSM's and you might get better help here;

The stepper motor is not going to affect anything but idle.

I left the house one morning with my 1G and about two blocks down the road I lost a plug wire. The problem is pretty big and noticeable. I had some extra wires in my garage - so back home and swap a wire. I was still able to get to work on time.
