jerky off throttle

My car is very abrupt and jerky when I get off the throttle. It feels like it starts to rev down then fuels up again and jerks. I have changed the rear diff oil yesterday and recently gearbox oil too.

I dont think its mechanical but not to sure either.

Cheers

What kind of blow off valve are you running? I have the same problem. Makes driving the car more of a PITA then fun. I need to do a boost leak test as well

Mine was the same way - then when I got dyno tuned, it was smooth as silk. It doesn't jerk/stutter nearly as much.

Prior to the tune, letting of the gas jerked the car around a lot.

It sounds more to be tune related...If you want your car ultra smooth and no symptoms of the issue you have go s.d.your gonna love and it's good for 10whp.

I actually had it tuned recently, but I dont really remember what it was like before the tune but your probably right with the tune. I do remember when I first drove home from the tune that it was silky smooth all around. And the isssue has only started to arrise but I could have been blind to it initially. Got to do the front diff over the weekend but not expecting it to alter it much. But its not going to hurt it.

Also cleaned the AFM with contact cleaner ..... nothing

Will have a chat to the tuner

Cheers

Im experiencing the exact same tug and pulling feeling mostly in 3rd gear and off throttle. Nothing too drastic though seems like normal manual trans behavior...

Last is to check for vac/boost leaks, see how that goes if all else fails then I will head back to the tuner and chat to him.

if when you back off the throttle the car bucks hard and you hear your blow off valve "flutter" or when you are at partial throttle the car begins to buck?

Thats compressor surge, your BOV spring is to stiff...

Does your blow off valve recirculate? or does it vent to the atmosphere?

I'm not 100% sure but I believe mine is doing this... Just bought it a few days ago and new to Evos.

I have a GFB Deceptor BOV which came on the car. Makes a definate fluttering sound which flutters more at low boost light throttle, and only a little flutter when really building boost. Car is very "bucky" after letting off the gas and I think this is my problem.

I believe my BOV can be changed to recirc along with adjustments for spring tension but I have no idea how to do it. It seems the Deceptor is hard to find info on but lots of stuff for the Deceptor Pro.

Everyone talks more about the sound tuning than how to adjust the spring pressure.

Mine sounds nearly identical to this video, but I have that Deceptor BOV as mentioned.

Here is a video I made.... not the best but same sound as the one above. Boost holds and the car rips, just have this noise and bucking which makes me scared that it's bad on the turbo.
