I'm making 686 on Cbrd mustang Dyno and I was at .22 gap on the okadas and stock plug wires and 38psi and had no issues. I have the spoolin up kit for back up when I get retuned for 45+psi. So I would hope the spoolinup cop is better than the okadas, so that means you should be able to run a bigger gap.

I ran .030 with my spoolinup COP on my evo8 with a BBX, ported head and all the fixins at 33psi, no problem.

Why not start big and then lower until your not getting blow out?

we recommend IR plugs gapped from .22-.26... depending on fuel/boost pressures!

I'm running the ST noncdi and plugs gapped to .028. Haven't had a problem yet. I'd start around there and gap them down until you don't get blowout.

Please specify what plugs, what boost level, and what fuel. As Tweaker above states, on pump, at less than 30#, and on BR7ES, or BPR8ES, I would try for .028" which is just about ideal. If it sputters... then close the gap back down to .027-.026". The COP ignitions should permit the wider gaps without fouling.
