Anyone have this exhaust or found a soundclip of what it sounds like?

Be careful with the B&B exhaust though. It makes great power on its own, but if you want to keep modifying your car, youre options will be limited as the B&B is much more restrictive than most other exhaust systems.

It uses some kind of chamber something or another than makes the exhaust flow take like 2 u-turns before it exits the rear

But that doesn't mean much. Those guys with 450 hp could potentially be running 500 hp with a free-flowing exhaust, without the two u-turns.

You would put another exhaust on those cars making 450hp with the B&B and see how much power they put out then.

I have the APS turboback that is catless and the sound is slightly deeper than stock. After it breaks in it is barely noticable when driving. All my friends love the looks/sound and there isn't any popping, just smooth deep sound. I used to use strictly greddy products in the past and this exhaust surpasses that in both sound and quality. You will not be disappointed and the power gains are definately there. The only time the exhaust sounds mean is under full load/boost but it sounds very nice. The looks are very low key also, and I have raced many a folk who thought my car was all stock the topend also opens up once you come into boost. I give it

you can drop a golf ball through the b&b, it is not restrictive, it only breaks up the sound waves to quiet it down.

maybe true, but i wouldn't be worried about switching up exhausts until you atleast redoe cams or plan on a new turbo set up

Huh?

1) a golf ball is only about an inch and a half wide. You could drop a golf ball down an exhaust that tapers to 1.5 inches as well, but thats still pretty darn restrictive

2) generally, noise is in fact inversely proportional to how free it flows. The fact that it breaks up sound waves means that it redirects the exhaust flow, and thus the air doesn't not come straight out. This creates excessive backpressure, which isn't good for turbo cars.

3) ask some tuners who have taken a look at the B&B what they think of that exhaust.

I have the same set up. Sounds great. It was a clean install, doesnt rub or bump anything under the car, and is very high quality.
