Need help QUICk. Buschur IC install

I am instaling the intercooler and on the new lower IC tube that connect to the turbo there is no nipple for the hose that connects to the actuator and silonoid. Where do I connect this?????

Anybody have a pic of it when they installed it? Any help would be great. as its on the ramps taken apart right now.

Thnx

If you are talking about the factory boost control solenoid then all you have to do is tap into another pressure source. You can try tee'ing off of your blow off valve for the pressure source. I run my manual boost controller this way and it works flawlessly. I also ran my Profec B Spec 2 off of the bov when I had it. I tried it off of the J-pipe nipple too and it worked the same in both locations. Hope this helps.

OR

You can try to see if your stock J-pipe will work with the IC piping that you received from Buschur.

I think you have to get a common nipple at the home depot - tap a hole and screw it in ! Thats what I did when I installed on eof these great BR fmic's !

yeah i called and talked to Tym. he told me what to do right away. key things when installing

1) Buy a t fitting and run the t from the BOV inlet tube and run that to hose that use to connect to the lower IC tube

When installing their MAS pipe:

2) The tube that goes from the silonoid to the factory MAS pipee. Just take the hose off and have the nipple VTA.

Fitting of the IC and upper IC was VERY tight and the lower IC to the turbo was a ***** to unscrew the flange. I havent put the splash gaurd back on, but I bought a heat gun and will eexperiment to get it to fit on w/o cutting.

I havent had a chance to drive it hard yet. One thing is, it isnt as loud as my Forge recirc BOV, but then again who cares. Also the car needs more gas off the line it seems now. I guess I have to get use to it.

Couple problems that I have noticed. I have the p2 flash. It doesnt pull as hard...... I am going to double check everything in the morning to see if possibly something is loose, but by a quick visual everything seems perfect. Also I have almost stalled a couple times with the following scenario:

In stop and go traffic, letting go of the clutch and pull forward like 10 feet and so on for about 100 feet. The car sometimes almost dies. Is this normal. Do I just have to get use to this and apply more gas?

Hold on guys. DO NOT drill and tap the pipe! We eliminated the nipple because you don't need to run the source down there next to the hot turbo and such.

Just tap into the BOV hose, real easy, real clean and gives you a good boost AND vacuum source for you boost controller.

Thanks,

David it still has a lot of lag and isnt producing full boost. Will the above quote help? The tube that went to the MAS pipe is now being vented to the atmosphere and the tueb that went to the lower IC tubing right after the turbo is T'ed off of the BOV.

Any tips?

David,

I have 2 t fittings for my HKS EVC V and my additional boost gauge both t'd on that BOV line. One towards the top of the engine and one near the BOV. Will I need to add another fitting if I buy this setup?
