clutch maybe going or normal?

So I'm a noob, but yes I searched. So story is I'm in first gear and if the Rome are between 1500 and 2k, if I easily let the clutch out it slips and shudders a little bit. It ONLY happens every now and again and I have troubles getting to duplicate. I haven't done it at high rpms as I don't want to end up pushing my evo. But for the most part I haven't had any problems and it usually 99.9% of the time grabs. I take it easy on her so I haven't isolated this possible issue in all conditions.

The clutch won't normaly slip in 1st or 2nd unless you are launching. Put the car in 5th at about 50mph and floor it, if the rpm's jump up, and down sporadically the clutch is on its way out. What you are describing though sounds like the factory clutch restrictor pill in the slave cylinder. Search on here about "clutch restrictor pill" hope this helps some

When my Oem clutch was on its way out, it shuddered in first gear when letting it out sometimes but not all of them time.

Well the car only has 18600 miles on it. Its really if I easily let the clutch out it will shudder but if I dump it, it will grab every time, and I tried the 5th gear floor and no rpm spike but the Turbo needed to spool first, maybe u meant 4th at 50 MPH cuz I have an mr 6 speed.

4th should work if the rpms arnt surge in a high gear then your clutch isn't sliping I vote the stock slave cylinder restrictor pill.

Like I said before if I launch it, it will grab, but just easing it out it will do an ever so slight shudder. Trying to get it to duplicate is hard. Only in first and just from a dead stop at low Tom's, no matter what if I dump the clutch it WILL grab. I am worried about it as you can see, so I will start at least looking for a clutch, any suggestions? HP goals are 400 tops, daily driver, no auto zing, maybe 1/4 mile track a couple of times, and the usual having fun w it.
