2 months ago I noticed a weird howling noise coming from the front driver side of my car. the noise comes on at about 60mph. I automaticly thought it was the death whine. But last week I put my winter tires on and now I hardly hear the sound and its a different pitch. sometimes I dont even hear at all. My summer tires r 255 star specs and my winter tires r blizzaks.

What could it b? the noise is so faint now, I cant even pick it up with my camcorder. And its 2 cold to put my summer tires back on to reproduce the noise.

 

sounds like a possible wheel bearing??

just jack the car up and wiggle the wheel with your hands on the top and bottom of the tire if you have play its no good
