500whp Stock block & turbo goal

I am wanting some input on if it would be possible for me to reach my goal of 500 and what it may take to achieve it on the virtual dyno I made my current numbers on.

Let me start by saying I take all dyno numbers with a grain of salt. I was dynoed in dynojet mode at 411hp. Here is a link to my mods and graph.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...1hp-362tq.html

Here is what I have planned:
Ported intake manifold
Ported TB
GSC S2's/FP4R's

I am considering porting the head but I'm not sure if there are any gains to be had doing this with the stock turbo.

I'm not sure what else I could throw into the mix other than a few more psi and maybe SD. I don't think the mods alone will get me there that's why I'm asking for some input. Please keep your input productive and informative. If you think it's not possible feel free to tell me but keep it PG. Thanks.

So you want 500whp on a stock turbo on a dynojet? FYI I believe the current record is right around 480-490whp with a built motor.

Just to let everybody know I have been searching around and I am finding some numbers of 430-440 tops. I don't know how my virtual dyno numbers correlate to some of the other dynos in those threads. I know GST's reads rather low and has been said to read maybe as much as 15 percent less than a Dynojet.

This is more of a food for thought thread. I doubt I can hit that goal but if one would take advertised power improvements of the mods I will be adding that would add in the neighborhood of 70hp. Include SD, a ported head and a pound or two more boost and I think it would be close. My fear is the mods to be added won't add the power they could as if I were running a bigger turbo and will in turn keep me from their true potential. My 500 I would assume to be 425-430 at GST.

Oh and springs will be part of the equation. I just didn't mention them cuz to me they are a given. I could not personally imagine doing cams without them.

You can do it with a high compression engine, a very free flowing head, and methanol (not methanol inj, but actually run meth as your primary fuel). But what's the point?

I'm already running e85 so no need for meth. The point like I mentioned is more food for thought than anything but I enjoy the response of the stock turbo and doing things that people say can't be done. Not that I will this time around.

HKS blow-off valve will get you to 500hp

although i didnt go after that, it's do-able.

We seem to top out around 410 whp but about 440 wtq with the stock turbos. I have seen them trap as high as 126 or so with a stock motor. I'm sure with higher compression more is possible.

^^ That gives me some hope but I am not sure how to quantify the power advantage of the displacement increase you have there.

Thanks Em for the input. I have a feeling some pretty drastic machine shop magic would be required to achieve this.

Emery knows his stuff. my car picked up 26hp from just a bump in compression, and that was with old gas and before the motor was broke in. in a couple weeks will get a better idea of how much of a jump. but it does make a big difference.

A fully ported head, the custom grind GSC cams that BlkCarbonEvo runs on his 2.4L engine, trick IM, a trick header, RT Ernie's o2 dump, a 6" thick ETS IC, VP 116, 75mm TB, a fully hogged out turbine housing, a 3.5" TBE, and 34 PSI.

As a "stock block" goal, it won't be possible. With a built motor on higher compression and possibly larger displacement it would take a very efficient setup to eclipse your peak 500whp number with dynojet settings in mind. I made a little over 440whp on my stock turbo/stock block which resulted in a 125.97mph trap speed.
