How to check a good or bad Coil & Plug Cables?

Hi guys,
does anyone know how to check and determine a good and bad coil and plug cables?

Can we use the ohm meter and what is the working condition ohm reading?
Or any other ways of checking?

Thanks

SPARK PLUG CABLE RESISTANCE CHECK
Measure the resistance of the all spark plug leads.
1. Check the cap and coating for cracks.
2. Measure the resistance.
Limit: 19 kΩ
3. If resistance is greater than 19 kΩ, replace the cable.

IGNITION COIL CHECK
Check by the following procedure, and replace the coil if there
is a malfunction.
.
SECONDARY COIL RESISTANCE CHECK
Measure the resistance between the high-voltage terminals of
the ignition coil.
Standard value: 8.5 − 11.5 kΩ

what ^^ guy said, but u need an ohm meter or a multimeter, test one end with the red point cable, and the other end goes on the black point cable... also check to make sure theres no cracking on the rubber on the coil boots that can cause shorting to the head.
