check the pcv valve itself. the little ball inside can rattle like that. mine went one night and it is pretty loud. try squeezing it as tight as you can and see if it makes a difference. if not just try replacing it as it is only $17 from the dealer. good luck man.

Sounds very much like a spark arching. Possibly a injector being that loud and more noticeable around the rail area. Try swapping coils from cylinders and see if the noise travels.

i dont think it would be easy to swap the coils unless i undo the wiring since its a cop.

im starting to think its a rocker rattling around like someone mentioned. maybe because a lifter got damaged and isnt holding oil very well after the bigger cam install.

doubt it could be spark arching. the boots on the cop are pretty long. the spark plug goes in there pretty deep. dont see how it could arch out

That is your valve seal. It's supposed to be pressed in on the guid, but it's hard to tell from the pic. Is it higher up then the others? If it not sealed, you will be sucking small amounts of oil into combustion on intake stroke.

Did they replace the seals with the springs/retainers? If the didn't, and the seal (OEM) IS up near top of valve, then that might be bad because those seals do not come loose once they're on, and if they did it could be from something valve related. Just worst case scenerio here

i think it was slightly higher. not 100% sure though, it was hard to tell.

would that cause the ticking sound i am getting?

and whats with the little spring?

im not good at diagnosing cars online, but i do know thats not a lifter making that noise. i have ticking lifters, its not even close to the sound in your video. im just suggesting you check elsewhere

Omg mine sometimes does.the same.thing but not.as loud
.what kind of spring kit.do u have, and injectors? ?mine does it right when the car is warming up and sometimes right after I get on it and lasts for 1 min less ..I been thinking and its either the oiling.using, injectors,Pcv,or Justin the nature of the cams and upgraded valve train.
