Heres my graph of whats going on right now...if I upgrade the motor to the AMS 2.3l do you believe the tranny will hold the extra TQ? I know the 6speed is weaker than the 5speed but i really dont want to convert..if only Shephard would rebuilt a 6speed for more power.

Not sure how far along shep is in his 6spd rebuild offering, but last I heard he had the parts in. Have you tried contacting him about this?

 

im pretty sure it should do fine because that looks similar to my graph and i have a 6speed with no problems with lots of racing and im at 50k miles on my car
