buschur stock ported o2 housing

https://secure.buschurracing.com/cat...products_id=76

Hello. Does anyone running buschur ported+coated stock o2? I have ex maniford ready to send and I am not sure I should get ported o2 housing at same time. Aftermarket o2 housing without suppoting braket kinda concerns me. Is ported stock o2 housing good for 400whp? Any suggestions welcome.

yes its good for that but you could get the ebay ss port o2 housing for cheaper and coat it and make that same power or get a megan o2 housing like most folks do or even get the new invidia 3" o2 housing

I am pretty sure Buschur no longer offers this service. at least when i asked about it they told me to just buy the SS o2 as they dont do this anymore.

Really? o2 housing without support bracket still good? Titek v2 is my second option though.

Porting a stock 02 housing is a waste of time. I don't care what anyone says, you will not make power off of one.

I think Dave B even tested the megan over the ported and it made power. He started selling the megans after this test. Buy a megan for about 100 bux - same cost as porting. Want to get fancy, get it coated. Its pretty light and does not need support brackets. No way to install stock heat shield though, but who cares at that price.

I believe we just exchanged emails on this......

Porting a stock 02 housing is borderline retarded, no matter how much you port on it you will end up with a heavier part and one that performs worse than the SS coated housing we offer. The support bracket is a NONE issue, don't worry about it.

LOL now I am confused....When I ordered your housing I was under the impression yours was the same power wise as the Megan et al. I opted to buy the buschur stock ported because it was coated.

So I guess I should have just kept my Megan Racing O2 housing on the car ??? To me the transitions looked much better on the Buschur ported O2.

Well I bought it probably two years ago or so...

So who makes the best O2 housing for an HTA Green ? And how much different would it be over the Buschur o2 ?

MAP carries a few different choices:

I think the Invidia has the support bracket but there are some install issues with it.

The Works housing only works with their Downpipe.
