Anyone max out their HTA FP-GRN?
Hello-
I was wondering what the most power people have gotten out of their hta-grn while on e85?
dyno #'s or 1/4 trap speeds will work too.
I have seen a bunch of posts, but nowhere did i find somewhere really taking it to the limits, like AWD has done with the fp-blk or bbk for example.
if you post your numbers, please list your mods, fuel used & boost level.......peak boost & boost @ ~7500/8krevs.
Thanks

i recall reading a thread where robert young mentioned going from a blk to a grn & said he did so for the fun factor while on the street. but i dont recall what a maximized # was?!?!?
i am currently running a blk. it's awesome, in regards to power potential, however, i am not maximizing the blk, so that is why i am considering going to a smaller turbo to gain transient response while maximizing the power capability of the turbo.
the blk is very responsive, dont get me wrong. it is very city driving friendly, however, there is a time / point when your <4k & you put your foot into it more than just city driving....AND that is where i wish i had more umpfh! it's more than 18% throttle, but less than 50% throttle....
when i go 50% throttle, hold on! The thing is, at that point im going way to fast....the engine is at 5 or 6k..... i wanted the power when i requested it with the throttle.....not 2 or 3 seconds later!
the oem turbo would be hyper sensitive on e85.....without trying, 500ft/lbs & 460whp was achievable @ 24psi on a oem non-ported turbo....but way tooo sensitive with throttle input.
im looking for ~600 whp / dj #'s @ ~30 psi..... im not looking for a turbo to make much more than the number mentioned above....
i wish there were more bbk-b #'s, as this seems like a great option, but there isnt much info out there to support their 56-58 lbs/min reference.... i did see a guy who made ~475 on 92/93 oct with bolt-ons....so this turbo has me thinking.....as i said, i wsh there were more reviews/ write up's on the bbk-b...
thanks for your help / insight

If I were you Aby I would wait, you might already know, but the rumor is that there will be a ball bearing BBK-B & FULL, and the FP line up will be available with the Ball bearing option as well sometime this year, patience is a virtue
