1,000cc PTE injectors on stock turbo?

Hello guys,

I'm currently running 1000cc PTE injectors on my evo, because I was using a FP Red. However, the red blew, needs a rebuild and therefore I'm switching back to stock turbo in the meantime. I was wondering if I have to go back to stock injectors or if it would be fine to keep the 1000's installed?

Thanks in advance!

you will be 100% fine.

I recommend peope running 9 turbos to run 1000's because the stock 560's can get maxed out around 380-400whp.(on pump)

And you shouldnt need to get them rescaled, but you will need a retune.

Another red bites the dust...What happened to it? I ran 1000cc RCs on my stock turbo setup, like everyone else said, just need to have them rescaled...

Wrong...he already has his injectors scaled properly. All you need to do is log the car with the stock turbo and you may need to tweak the fuel tables. You'll likely be able to get the AFRs in check within a few runs...

Good luck.

Red = junk wheel.

Rc 1000cc injectors work great with no issues at all starts great everytime..I had some issues with a bit of cold starts with my precision 12000cc injectors which is known for but I adjusted it and it's much better almost perfect starts all the time.

Very true stock injectors max out at 400 whp..

I don't know what happened man... I was going to wait till I got it out of the car to start a discussion here, but I'll start a thread about it ASAP so I can get an idea of what I did wrong or if the turbo was just bad since the beginning. I wrote to FP to get info on the rebuilds, but I haven't got any response yet. I guess they get alot of emails.

Sorry thats what I meant to say, Percocet from my hernia surgery had my typing funny things...

If the gentleman above said, if the injectors are already scaled and going from an FP red to stock turbo you will be running a bit rich and you will need to pull some fuel...Your afr may be a whole point to point and a half richer...
