Talking EvoSPL is back. 5

Hi guys, just a small preview of what is "cooking" at our shop.

Now we want to hurry up and finish it for the Miami Hot Import Nights on Sat. Hopefully :-)

A SMALL PREVIEW:

THE REAL THING:-)
You can see the 220gph (not lph) fuel pump in the last picture.

All engines rely on backpressure to run. On turbocharged cars, the turbos provide the backpressure to the engine. And the goal is to have the LEAST backpressure after the engine. That difference in pressure before and after will spool the turbo.

Since t25 Eclipses have 3" exhausts and they are fine, our 5" exhaust on a 3.5" exhaust wheel should be fine too.

I like the vented wastegate tube. Nice. You should run it back to the rear bumper and put a tiny Apexi muffler on it

You mean convert to a dual exhaust?

Let see first how this setup will sound.

The wasteg dump pipes are always louder because of te short the short thravel of exhaust gas. I have the same setup on my Supra, and it is awesome. But the Supra has 4" muffler , vs the Evo has no muffler.

That wastegate is going to sound great, for sure. It's going to be interesting to hear how it all sounds with no muffler on the piping and the vented wastegate, oh, and the twin SSQV's . I wouldn't convert to a dual exhaust, having the wastegate dump right there is probably most efficient, and will probably sound best
