This sort of brain fart is commonplace on my part, ts. Sorry PSI if I got it mixed up though

the green uses steel on copper? i dont know what the other material is.

its all good tho if you run good oil..

i had the red on stock block, i loved it.. id get the red over green but the green is pretty good also though. cant go wrong on either.
I am getting the Red and stock block as well, why is it bad to use steel on steel and why does FP do this then if it is bad?

it can tollerate overboosting the crap out of the turbo without burning up the thrust bearings. but if you dont use the correct oil you will burn them up anyways LOL.

Use either amsoil or brad penn or valvoline vr1 and youll be good to go. theres more on the list also the list is here: http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...otor%20Oil.pdf

My guess is they weren't aware of what was causing the problems. 1st was the oil line. 2nd it was oil with high ZDDP in it. This is all speculation on my part though. I read here that BB is on the way though. Again speculation.

The Green is an OK upgrade but the power gains are short and sweet. The Red will walk all over it by at least 100WHP. Go for the RED.

Curt Brown maxed out both turbos on his car. The red made around 40whp more than the green on his car. 530ish on the green and 570ish on the red. although the red numbers were made in about 30 degrees higher temps there was also a cam change as well as some other tweaks... rounding up to 100whp seems a bit exaggerated.

He has also had all three colors on his car and just posted he cant wait to get green back on the car because it was the most fun street turbo he has ever used,
