Does anyone know what is the cold cranking amps for the stock battery?
That battery is the PC680? Named so for 680 cranking amps. Only real problem with that battery in an auto is the short reserve time--25 mins at 45 amp load..not really a prob in the Evo as far as I can see with the automatic light shut off but if you leave an interior light on while you're in the mall or you listen to the radio, etc while the car is off, you're gonna be gettin a jump unless you are quick and/or careful...

The pipe will work with the stock airbox.

We can weld any flange you want onto your intercooler pipe. We can get most of the flanges/BOV's out there or you can send the flange in if you get a killer deal on some BOV. We TIG weld it on with stainless wire of course.

I never saw that 1g to Seq. BOV flange before, that's pretty slick.
Where'd you get it?

i dont think u addressed teh issue with the hole in teh maf pipe, if u get the upper ic pipe kit and move the bov to the upper pipe, will we need to run a seperate hose to the maf pipe whole where it used to be located? or do u need to get your maf pipe that does not have the hole present??

It's pretty easy. Only thing to look out for is a bracket that hold some hoses and wires. You'll have to move it in order to get the pipe down in the car.

oOOo, finally, now I understand the question. Thanks! haha

We send with the upper pipe kit a new return hose so you can put the return hose back on. IF you have the stock MAS pipe still then you will have to specify when you call and we will then send a small double bead rolled piece of tubing that goes into your MAS pipe so the return hose can be attached.

Sorry it took me so long to understand the question.

Dave,

How much would you charge if all I need is the pipe and the HKS flange welded to it? I have the flange and can ship it to you.
Also do you sell the intake pipe without the recirculation inlet?
Thanks.

Yes, we can sell the MAS pipe without the recirculation tube. Also if you send in your flange I will weld it on to the pipe for free. The price is the same for the pipe. The reason the price doesn't go down with us using your flange and not ours is there is more labor involved with us installing your flange, makes it equal out.

Dave,

I was actually gearing the question more towards is it cheaper than $330 since we won't be using the 1G bov? I would figure the price is including the 1G bov and since some of us do not need it that is why I ask. Thanks in advance.

i have the BR MAF pipe and upper I/C piping in powder coat. it looks very nice under the hood. i just relocated the battery to the trunk and mounted a box back there to hold it. that way i can go to the track or autocross without problems.

Here is how the pricing is set up.

BR upper i/c pipe in gloss black with NO BOV. $210
BR upper i/c pipe in polished SS with NO BOV. $240
BR upper i/c pipe in polished SS or black WITH BOV add $90.

The extra $90 gets you the valve, gasket, two nice allen head bolts and we bolt it on before it ships.

Hi David,

Does your 1G flange fit the Greddy Type S BOV? Is the small battery OK for the winter? Thanks.
