Drain/fill plug washers?

are there any washers on the drain/fill plugs on the tranny, transfer case and the rear diff?

not on the first fluid change, they should be fine. After 2 or 3 changes you should get new washers.

I could be wrong, but I think recomends changing them every time. I just did the tranny + diffs change myself, and the washers were pretty cheap. Be sure to use fliud with a proper friction modifier in the rear diff.

One other detail, I wouldn't suggest the Redline MT-90 for the tranny. I ordered some and found out it is GL-4 rated. The tranny wants a GL-5 fluid. I did use the Redline 75-90 in the diffs though (it does have a friction modifier) and it seems to be working great so far.

CHanged all the fluids and used the same washers. Doesnt leak. Hell I have changed my oil 6 times using the orig washer and it never leaks.

actually the tranny calls for GL-4 not GL-5. GL-5 can be used in the t/case and rear diff.
